Hebrew - Suffixes - motion towards

The suffix -âh can also signify motion towards, eg.
she’ôlâh (towards sheol)

The accenting helps to distinguish between this and a feminisation of a noun - the above is accented on ôl, whereas the feminine ending would require it to be accented on âh, eg.

sheôlâh (towards sheol) as opposed to
nebhîyâh (prophetess)
